Here at Asbury York we have many ministries designed to reach our surrounding community as well as build up those already within our congregation. Puppet Ministry
We have puppets! Join us for songs, dancing and laughter when our puppets are performing! For more information on when puppets are performing or events they will be at, you can follow us on Facebook or watch our website!
Community Meals
Asbury provides meals for the community. We have a monthly community breakfast and a monthly community dinner. These are offered free to the community and support the local downtown area. Watch Facebook for when these will be offered. Interested in donating? We have a list of donation items and also accept monetary donations towards these events.
Men's Closet
The men's closet was created to clothe men who have just been released from prison. Many of these men have been homeless, jobless or living in rehab and sober treatment centers in our city. Through many donations from several congregations we have been able to provide new underwear, socks as well as jeans, shirts, coats, shoes, belts and personal hygiene products. We have been blessed to have volunteers who treat these men with respect and dignity as they start their new life.
